Well I can easily understand it if it was just one roll or it was the orthochromatic film that was done by inspection.

I also will admit that I had 616 confused a bit with 620 where you could just load it on a 120 spool.  Then again, I maybe weird and I won't deny it, but if I get an old camera it isn't just to collect.  I like to use a camera if I am collecting it.  Just wondering if someone makes an adjustable reel that would take that format?

Marty the question becomes, why do it? Film tanks are cheap
compared to the pain and then no see sawing in the dark at
all. Could you????? Probably, but I don't understand why
you would want to.

Marty said it was film found in a 3A Autographic
camera, that makes it something like 616 size so finding a
tank for it might be difficult although they were made. Many
of the old adjustable plastic tanks like the Yankee, FR, etc
would go up to this size but this is for just one roll of
film.
