I recall the news that the film "Blow-Up," in which mod London photographer
(David Hemmings) finds something very suspicious in the shots he has taken of
a mysterious beauty in a desolate park. He invites Vanessa Redgrave (the
"beauty") to his flat where she attempts to steal the film (she has, after
all, murdered the man she was with when Hemmings made the photos) by
grabbing his Nikon F sitting on a counter. I read that this shot of the
iconic camera spiked Nikon F sales. I bought one. Sold it. Just yesterday I
shot a roll through my Nikon F2.
