I used to have this problem with a previous enlarger. The heat from the
bulb would cause the buckling. When I upgraded to a Beseler 23c It came
with heat absorbent glass between the light source and the condensor. This
virtually ended the problem. When I got my Besler 45 the first thing I did
was purchase the heat absorbent glass for that enlarger.
