And the distinction here is what? In contemporary philosophy,
'morality' usually refers to actual codes of conduct that people have,
and 'ethics' refers to the study or evaluation of such codes, but often
these terms are used less strictly as synonyms.
BTW., I agree that what happened here looks bad, but we really don't
know everything involved. Personally, if I were BL, I'd make an issue
of it in a very polite and reasonable way.
