Hi Dana
I’ve had separation paper stick to the emulsion, I unpeeled it, and continued.
That was on a box of 100 sheets of Kodak royal pan, bought partially used
marked NN6141-z1-B40. There was no expiry date on the box
The box also recommended DK50 or DK60a as developers, only.
I shot some of it. There were what looked like water stains coming in towards
the centre from the sides of the sheet, but I got a workable image, with low
contrast.
So, anyone here have an idea as to the date? There was a price of 25c written
on the box, but that could have arrived there at any point in its history.
Best
Laurence

After my recent experience with backing-paper induced mottling on T-Max 120,
I'm including backing-paper as a culprit (but this only works on 120).

In line with some of the other threads here, I’ve found the secret to

that the damage can be attributed to the age of the film, and not your
personal incompetance. At least thats my story and I’m sticking to it.

THAT, is an excellent idea. I also attribute damage to my negatives to:
- Gravity
- Quantum effects
- The socio-political unrest of our time
- Covid-19 variants
- Ghosts
