Sometimes, it's just a pleasure to look at a negative.
I got the urge to dig out the Yashica MAT 124 (not the G) the other
day. Grabbed a couple rolls of Fuji Acros and headed to Cathedral
Park, under the St. Johns Bridge (Portland, OR). Sunny day, but only
about 70 degrees out. Shot two rolls, on a tripod, thru a dark yellow
filter, ASA 40.
Processed the film in Formulary WD2D+, 12 minutes, 74 degrees.
Since WD2D+ is a pyro developer, you get this very pleasant light brown stain.
Seeing nicely exposed and processed negs, with that warm tone to
them, is just a pleasure in itself.
Maybe I'll get nice prints, too!
