The film is held in a plastic rack and there are clips that go on the top of the rack to keep the film in-place during agitation. It is slow to fill and drain though. It does have better agitation than the old Yankee sheet film tank! Howard Efner 73 de KF5RGU Being able to invert it should make all the difference. You can't invert the Yankee tank because it doesn't seal. My Nikor tank takes too long to fill and empty but its possible to get around that by working partly in the dark. The Jobo is probably the best method. I have used tray development but it is difficult to avoid scratching or gouging the film if you try developing more than perhaps two or three sheets at onece although some people manage it.
