All, The CombiPlan tank can be sealed and fully inverted for an agitation
cycle.  The film is held in a plastic rack and there are clips that go on the
top of the rack to keep the film in-place during agitation.  It is slow to fill
and drain though.  It does have better agitation than the old Yankee sheet film
tank!

     Being able to invert it should make all the difference. You can't invert
the Yankee tank because it doesn't seal. My Nikor tank takes too long to fill
and empty but its possible to get around  that by working partly in the dark.
The Jobo is probably the best method. I have used tray development but it is
difficult to avoid scratching or gouging the film if you try developing more
than perhaps two or three sheets at onece although some people manage it.
