Ed Lopez back here. I really don't know, but it has something to do with stactic electric that inters the battery some how when laying on a surface. As far as 64 gig SD cards, I guess it would require a fermware update. As it is, I am having trouble finding SD 32 gig cards.

You have what they refer to as surface charge which is normal for any rechargeable battery. So, I wouldn't wory about it. I had this happen on my icon as well and the votes can very from 2-to 5 votes. Sometime it's a good idea to run the battery down, so it will take a full complete charge. Date: Fri, 12 Jun 2009 09:17:55 -0500 Ok, i have an interesting question to ask everyone, something that perplexes me to no end. When listening to the plextalk pocket/ recording, when i get done listening sometimes when i go back i notice that the plextalk pocket tells me more then the battery life i had when listening for example. if i have 10 percent of the battery when i go back lets say either a half hour or an hour later, i get 12 percent of battery life. is this by design? or is something really different happening? or could it be due to the conditions of the different places i listen/record in? Just want to make sure i am not doing anything different/strange . thanks for your help. ------------------------------ From: "Jamie Cuthbertson" <jamie.cuthbertson@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: RE: interesting question. Date: Fri, 12 Jun 2009 21:26:43 +0100 Hi there, I can't answer your question from a technical perspective but I have noticed with many other battery powered devices that you sometimes get a small surge of power when you turn it on. For example, an electric screw driver might give the impression that the battery is failing but if you turn it off and then back on a short time later, it often seems to have more juice than it had when using it previously. Admittedly it then drops off quickly. If the difference is only a few percent I'd guess that it is something to do with this kind of phenomenon. At the end of the day, the power level is only ever a rough indicator so I wouldn't tend to be overly fixated on exact percentages. As long as youknow when the power level is getting low, this is the important thing.Regards, Jamie _____ From: ptr1-users-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ptr1-users-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Life My Way Sent: 12 June 2009 15:18 To: ptr1-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: interesting question.
