Ed Lopez back here. I really don't know, but it has something to do with stactic electric that inters the battery some how when laying on a surface. As far as 64 gig SD cards, I guess it would require a fermware update. As it is, I am having trouble finding SD 32 gig cards.

I had this happen on my icon as well and the votes can very from 2-to 5 votes. Sometime it's a good idea to run the battery down, so it will take a full complete charge. For example, an electric screw driver might give the impression that the battery is failing but if you turn it off and then back on a short time later, it often seems to have more juice than it had when using it previously. Admittedly it then drops off quickly. If the difference is only a few percent I'd guess that it is something to do with this kind of phenomenon. At the end of the day, the power level is only ever a rough indicator so I wouldn't tend to be overly fixated on exact percentages.
