Thanx a million once again.
I see it has only a tone control. But if the headphone amplifier is of a
sufficiently high quality you should not need a to use the tone control at
all. I was thinking of playing it through a good quality stereo system for
example but most probably this will not work as the unit does not have a
line out socket. What a pity for such a smart machine!

I love the quality out. Actually with the powered speakers these days you
can get a fairly nice sound.
I use it for recording, not really for listening purposes. I do use it to
listen, but not like I do for recording.
