I love the sony ems sm 97 single point stereo microphone. it has the
best 3 d immage of any stereo microphone I have if a bit flat. The bass and
trebble are rolled off signifficantly. i really love the immage that this mic
projects from a single point pacission

I was doing some searching on single point microphones this
morning and found something that looks like a good deal. The Sony
ecm-ds70p
For some reason many vendors on Ebay are liquidating this model for
between $6 and $10. I am not sure why. Checking on amazon customers
are paying between $40 and $50 and giving it very posative reviews.
At this price I am buying one sight unseen (grin)
