is there a way to start recording automattically? and then stop
automattically? with in the pocket?

Thanks very much Jamie for the excellent suggestion, which makes
perfect sense if you need to tidy up the title, but if, for example,
you start the recording in a hurry and forget to give it a title at
the beginning, then there is still the issue of not being able to
insert it. Surely something as important as defining the book title
should not be this difficult, so Marc, please could you comment
and/or pass this on?.
It is linked with the fact that you cannot insert a recording at a
given point, as you could with the PTR1 and 2.
