Why do you want to use Type II? Type II cards are MicroDrives. They have
a built-in hard disk and therefore need more power and make the typical
hard disk noise. A couple of years ago, CF cards were much more
expensive than now and at that time, it made sense to buy a MicroDrive,
but I'd never buy one today.

Type II cards work with the PTR2, but unless one can get a
Microdrive for free, they don't make much sense anymore IMHO.
