The part with the door is Section 214 in Castle Death. The "combat" in
question is Lone Wolf trying to lift the heavy iron door. Nexus applies
because the telekinesis it gives effectively increases the amount of "lifting
power" that Lone Wolf has. Neither Psi-surge nor Mindblast should apply
because the door doesn't have a mind to attack. Whatever quasi-physical force
Psi-surge has wouldn't help in this case. It worked for the door in The
Kingdoms of Terror because that was a matter of blasting/scouring away dirt
that was jamming the door shut. There's nothing like that here. The door is
just really, really heavy. So, Nexus will help you but neither Psi-surge no
Mindblast will. And, honestly, neither should a Shield, since Shield's can't
ward off gravity. The Silver Helmet probably should help you, due to its
magical nature, as should potions/berries of Alether, since they specifically
enhance your strength.
