If you fail in the first RN, "your horse has suddenly plunged into thick mud up to its belly." I don't see why that makes the horse unrecoverable if you succeed in the second RN (since the death of your horse is only described if you fail in the second RN).


Comparing the new Mongoose edition, the text there simply makes no sense, and perhaps Simon or Jon should send Mongoose a note so it's fixed if they ever come out with the paperback edition :)

And IMHO if you fail in frist RN pisk and manage is second, your horse is lost. (compare with new Mongoose edition)]
