Hey Guys,

Sorry to bee a noob, but can I get some help with making a folder in svn and
uploading files?

Chris, I went to SVN commit and it pops a window, see attached. But I don't
know what to do from here. Can you help?

Do I have to establish the folder first? If so, where should I be putting it?

Thanks guys,

Katie

hey katie,

For tomorrow when you want to make your own folder to update in svn, I
thought I would just give you info on how to
do that (cuz I had probs
at first hehe)

When you right click the folder you have the game in and choose svn
commit, you'll get the dialog for anything you wanna upload.  This is
the only way to actually upload something and overwrite things that
are on the server (which I was afraid of at first)

It will show you all the files you have that are new and changed in
that dialog.  You only wanna check the ones that you intend to show
the world (for example I have 5 or so files that I never upload when I
do an update because those are mine)

And even if you update something that you didn't want to, svn saves
copies of all updates so that we can go back to earlier versions, it's
cool like that :)

I'm just sending you this so it doesn't seem as intimidating to start
with, at least as it was for me at first.
