I like the hidden trigger idea. Also I have been thinking about the camera 
shift for cut scenes too so we're all of like mind

Eric you should check it out, you gotta zoom out a lil to see it (and you
can type reload in the console to re-load the map and start at that same
point so you can see it again if you want to).

Regarding only being able to see it when you are zoomed out (and i defer to
eric on this if he disagrees) what do you guys think about having the bridge
collapse right as you are about to cross?

Basically you step on a place right before the bridge and the screen does a
rumble and the bridge collapses.

I think maybe that way it would be more noticeable.

Either that or a camera cut where the camera pans to the bridge collapsing
then back to the player (and input is disabled while camera is panning).
