Best bet is to dump internet exploiter and use firefox but before you
do, download and install the adblock add-on. That may help some.

Hi,
Does this occur with other computers? I'm guessing they are ads
placed by Google (I've seen this on cplusplus.com.).
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: removing ads

Hello!
I don't know where to ask for help, other than this list, so I
decide to ask here.
When I read c++ tutorials(That I'm doing now) or something else
using internet explorer, I get messages like ad served by, play
casino, and like that.
It's no pop ups, just this junk on almost any homepage I'm
visiting.
I know that this junk is'nt on any of the homepages, so there
must be some virus or something in my computer.
I'm using avast, and I scanned the computer, but avast didn't
found anything.
SO, could you help me please?
/Kristoffer
