Hi,

Look for Role Master or Harn books written in the 80's or 90's and they have very good combat systems. The best SiFI battle system was Living Steel.

I have never seen them in accessible format, so you will have to use your scanner to access them if you have one or cannot read large print.

I've seen some FAQ, but nothing really big.
I'm trying to write a combat system, as realistic as possible, and am not familiar with the systems.
Just looking for something to help me get going with the reading.

Hi,

What DND system do you wish to use?

Role Master by Crown uses tables which would be the best method of simulating real combat. Their simulation of combat is quite complex.

ADND uses a easier system.

I do have these books in print form and I used to have Role Master documentation on floppy. I am not sure if I still have it. I do have a cdrom which has ADND infroatmion in a database.

I am sure this information could be tracked down on the net.

OK, so I'm working on a mud, with a pretty intricate combat system. I am looking for some DnD stuff for rules on how everything works, etc.
I found some faq stuff, but it's sorta lame. :)
Help appriciated,
