I just imported the libs in c# and started playing. Also google turns up some examples, but doesn't explain enough to do what I want.

Where did you learn all this? I downloaded the sdk from November 2008, but the documentation does not talk about code examples, just general concepts. The code samples do not even compile for me (on Depc++ version 4.9.9.2 under Vista on an AMD processor). I would like to start doing audio games, but when I try to join the list for developers at developers.usagames.us, I never get anywhere; the confirmation url gives me an error and nothing happens when I reply to the emails. Any help would be great. Note that I am not very proficient with c++.Have a great day, Alex----- Original Message ----- From: "Tyler Littlefield" <tyler@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To: <programmingblind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date sent: Sat, 20 Dec 2008 09:30:16 -0700 Subject: direct x:getting startedHello list, I've got a quick question. I want to get going with direct x, so I can make an audio game Iwasthinking about. I'm having trouble moving things around though. when I createtwo vectorsand use one as a center point, and move the other up on the yaxes, or tothe left, it doesn't change the sound, it just either gets reallyquiet, orstays the same volume. help here would be great. Thanks, Tyler Littlefield email: tyler@xxxxxxxxxxxxx web: tysdomain-com Visit for quality software and web design. skype: st8amnd2005__________ View the list's information and change your settings at //www.freelists.org/list/programmingblind__________View the list's information and change your settings at //www.freelists.org/list/programmingblind
