Not 100% sure, but this used to defintely be
                        necessary/worth a try since I
know that in the old days it was in fact required.

When in the code editor, hit Jaws + F2 and move down to
                        the configuration
manager, then when it opens, use Alt + S to go to the
                        set options menu, move
down to Window Classes, and hit enter on it, then when
                        it opens (you might
first need to 'assign' a new window class allocation,
                        tab until you get to
where it allows you to 'tell' it what type of control
                        you are in, and move
down to multi-line edit, tab to ok, and hit space, then
Ctrl + S to save the
configuration changes, and then alt + F4 to close the
                        configuration manager.

This should change the way it 'reads' the code
window to
                        you. Like I said,
not 100% sure if this is still
required/recommended, but
                        maybe check with
the other guys on the blind programming
mailing lists as
                        well.

Apart from that, just go through the list of script
                        assigned hotkeys and see
                        if you come right.

Also, to be honest, I'm actually a bit out of practice
                        with this stuff since
I've basically been working in PHP etc. for the last 6
                        months or so, but,
FWIW, I'm actually starting a new job today and will
                        also be working in
                        VS.Net 2005 etc. mostly doing ASP.Net or
classic ASP. so
                        should, hopefully,
get on track soonish - LOL!

                        Stay well

                        Hi.
okay, will try that, and what class should i assign?
and now, the blind programming site is down, and maybe
                        might forward
this to the blind programming list if that is okay.
e-mailed James Holme, and he said they are recoering
                        from a virus,
that is why the blindprogramming.com site is down.
                        cheers Marvin.
