Also, you might try the nonlibra version.  On their download page,
scroll down to where you hear somehting like:

Vinux 3.0 cd based on ubuntu lucid lynx


That's the full Vinux distro without strict adherence to libra
guidelines.  I've been using it off and on for a couple of weeks now
and am just digging it.  I wish I had an extra pc to install it on so
I can test drive it with emacspeak as well.  It just blows me away
that this product is free to download and use.  A man can get used to
that.  I was looking at upgrading form xp to windows 7 and the cost is
like 200 bucks!  Insane!  Linux distros have spoiled me.  I think the
highest price I've seen was RedHat's Fedora or maybe novell's suse
with all the windows integration work they did and open office
customization they did.  It was like 90 bucks or something.

Try the nonlibra version of vinux like I said.  It might be better for
hardware compatibility.
