If you have the access bridge installed. The java console in the control panel has a upgrade button.

If the bridge is not installed. Then the console won't be seen by jaws.
You could also go to java.com
There you can find out if has latest and get upgraded if not.
A tip, when installing or upgrading. Make sure that all software that uses java is closed or it will not complete. That even includes the java console. Only the java update window should be open.
