Toad for Oracle

Hi,
I am new to using Toad for Oracle. I am using Version 9. I am also using
Version 9 of JFW on a Windows XP, SP2 PC.
Are there any Scripts or tips on how best to set it up (there is a
bewildering set of options and I can't tell what might or might not help).
I have looked around the Help System and on the toadsoft web site, but I did
not find anything that I thought would be of help.
Any suggestions would be very welcome.
