Yes, there is. At least in Lucid, and I don't know why it wouldn't be in Maverick.

Do you know if Gnu Cash is available as a package in Ubuntu Maverick or Lucid repositories?Don MarangThere is just so much stuff in the world that, to me, is devoid of any real substance, value, and content that I just try to make sure that I am working on things that matter.Dean Kamen -------------------------------------------------- From: "Alex Midence" <alex.midence@xxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, November 16, 2010 11:05 PM To: <programmingblind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: Need a hand with a school projectThanks, Jamal. Be glad to share the results with you. So far, Firefox is in the lead for the most popular FOSS app. VLC and Open Office are next in line. Hardly anyone's heard of Gnu Cash. That surprised me. It's a very nice program actually. For accessibility though, it works better in Linux than windows. Also, and this didn't surprise, most people don't care if the source code is available on software or not. NO price tag is enough for them. Only about 10% are exclusive open source users right down to the OS. Most Open Source suers are in the "Use it for some things" category. Then there was the huge number who had never heard of open source. Regards, Alex M On 11/16/10, Jamal Mazrui <empower@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:Me, too. I've been asked to create a survey for a school project and generate 20 responses after which I need to gather them up in a presentation. The survey is called "How do you feel about Free?" and deals with the use of free software in general and open source software in particular. I would appreciate it no end if you guys were to take it. It's only 10 questions. The link is below. Just click on it and you'll be in the survey. Send it to all your friends or to anyone you want to annoy. I'm totally OK with you using my survey to annoy somebody. Anything to generate responses. :) Here is the link: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/LJ85BR2 Thanks to all who respond and apologies to those whose inbox I've filled with junk mail.
