Hi: Not recent, years ago I did some DBII in COBOL on a IBM Mainframe. There should be some IBM manuals for DBII. Basically you write your program as usual but use a cursor to point to the current row you are working on after retrieving it with a Sql Select query. At least that's how we did it in prehistoric times. Rick Farmington Mich. I do cobol programming everyday and also cobol /ims/db2 and with online and batch features. I have a focus80 and jaws5.0 at work. Do you have any hints, or some tutorials about db2 /sql programming for mainframe? Many thanks and best regards! Or, do you know of anyone who does? I'm thinking of giving it a try if it is doable. I have significant background in IBM MainFrame technologies and might just need to brush up on them to look for some work in the field if accessibility is not too big of an issue. Contact me on or off list if you know anything that might help. Thanks: Rick Farmington Mich. USA
