Hi Listers, To make JAWS not speak the line numbers you need to restrict the window. You have to set each corner of the window. I had to do this. I also had to make sure it didn't speak the time all the time which is in the lower right corner on the status line. I have not been on the mainframe for a while. I think it might be insert R. As for question 1, maybe the scripts have a help file you can read. Thanks. Is there a way to make Jaws not speak the line numbers at the beginning of every line? 2. Is there any way to read long lines without having to constantly press F11 to scroll to the right? 3. How do I configure the Home key to always take me to the command line? Thanks in advance.
