First the specs:

1.  booking of communal facilities.

2. emergency repairs.

3.  AGM Notification.

4.  License renewal notification.

5.  estate maintance contractors list.

6.  incidents reporting.

7. estate rules and regulations.

8.  maintain emergency contact list.

Application nuts and bolts:

I am thinking of a server/client interface:

1. the client interface will consist of a form in which compulsory registration and all requirements are filled in, then submitted.

2. the server component wich will register clients, administer and approve or reject requests.

Programming environments:

The obvious choice would be to program in java and with Android studio as the programming medium.  But I am wondering if Xamrin and visual studio would be able to meet my needs as well?  How accessible is Xamrin when used in conjunction with visual studio, and how accessible is it as compared to Android studio?

The ideas above are by no means final, and all feedback and suggestions are gratefully accepted.  If any of you has a better solution, I'll be glad to listen.  Thanks and sorry for the rather long email.  Cheers!
