[program-l] section 508 compliance

Hi All
Is there a certification for websites that say they are 508 compliant?
and if so, how does one go about meeting/obtaining it?
I know that theres supposed to be some movement to make the 508 pretty
much the same as the w3c,but not sure how that plays out as far as
certification/s go.
