Hi,
I have seen Linux and Vinux discussed on this list a few times, so I am
forwarding this email for those of you that are waiting for Vinux 4.0
and the new, exciting features that it brings.

Hi,
For a lot of you who know I am Rob Vinux Development coordinator.
Firstly I would like those who may not have seen this to view the
following link:

This blueprint is very exciting.
But their are very few people with the knowledge or the willingness to
complete the task.
Our lead tec Luke Yelavich who has very little interest in the console
has very kindly agreed to complete the work for a cost of $500.
This is an exciting prospect as since our last official release
pulseaudio has been increasingly difficult to make work in system wide
mode and the console speech has been a big problem to make work reliably.
The work will take place over a week or two due to Lukes full time work
commitments.
As writing this mail to Linux support and development lists Luke and I
have just finished discussing this.
We often work on Vinux development several times a week and Luke puts a
lot of hours in behind the scenes which not many people would be aware of.
So far before I wrote this email, eloC, Jeremiah and his girlfriend have
pledged funds.
I also have and I ask if you are able to donate, help us help you.
Vinux has a great support community and we ask if you can, to help us
once again.
Please email me off list or in reply to this thread if you are able to
donate and an amount you are comfortable to.
We have already raised $175 so nearly half way.
I will confirm individually with you and ask for an email address to
contact you once pledged funds have met our target.
Further information will follow on specifics, not sure yet if donations
will go straight to Vinux pay pal or to Lukes.
Feel free to get others involved and I really do thank our community for
making this happen.
