Hi Bill and All, Thanks for your answers. I think that what is going to end up happening is that I'll just zip up the stuff and mail it to myself when I change it. We have a lot of restrictions here. I was just probably hoping for something that wasn't feasible. Considering the underlying kernel for Apples is now a version of UNIX, I would imagine the SCCS/SBCS version control software would likewise be available on those platforms. At any rate, SCCS (Source Code Control System) and SBCS (Software Binary Control System) would be ideal for any type of files you need to store. Keep in mind that any file readily accessible via notepad.exe or any âtext editorâ will be stored via the SCCS software. Any binary files of any type, including image files, word documents, executable and sound files will require SBCS for version control. I do believe there may be similar Microsoft PC tools available, but I have no experience with those so will defer to others on this list. I have a question. Would version control work for files other than source code? For example, if I wanted to store a couple of Word docs and retrieve them from more than one computer, would this kind of thing work for that? Thanks.
