Sorry I was talking about sonic pi not surge. I think when it comes to sonic pi
it is just a lucky event that they are using QT and somehow narrator can
actually function with it best. Including things like intel sense. When used
with Jaws or NVDA and intel sense in sonic pi. Jaws and NVDA actually get hung
in window changes. I am sure with some work scripts can be made to work with
sonic pi better but out of the box it works with narrator.

I'm super interested in the design decisions to make Surge most accessible to
Narrator, but not as accessible with NVDA or JAWS.
Explain?

Oh one other thing the amazing thing is it is most accessible with Narrator and
not NVDA and Jaws.

Dr. Aaron is doing his level best to make it accessible to us. Any problems at
all, he wants to hear about it. He's already implemented a fair number of my
suggestions, & I've joined his Patrion just because of that.
There is also a nice book as well as a course on Kadenz on SonicPi; both were
free last time I checked, which was a long time ago. YMMV, as always.

From a programming perspective sonic pi might be a better choice but I
am no music expert. I just like the fact you can do live coding with
sonic pi it is like a digital instrument for programmers.

Hi,
I'm unsure of all the tallents of everyone here for programming or
music. I learned that this synthesizer is accessible, but haven't
taken it for a spin yet. I am sharing this, though, in case anyone
wants to know about what an open-source synthesizer looks like from a
coding standpoint, and as a side issue, in case you want to play with
it from a musical perspective.

Thanks.
