...a servlet can be a compiled JSP, therefore there needs to be an overhead of 
somesort of framework. I want something light and easy to build.

Hi JC,
My Java knowledge fits in a thimble, so take this for what it is: a guess. What 
you talk about sounds something like a servlet. Or maybe it sounds like jsp.

I believe this is entirely possible but I don't know how to get started. What I 
want is to have an EJB that will hand off a predetermined piece of data and 
display same to an HTML form without going through a framework such as STRUTS, 
Web sphere, etc. Just a quick and dirty.

Can someone point me in that direction?
