Hello.
I am just getting into machine learning and data science myself. I have setup a
python and R environment in VSCode and it is running pretty smoothly now. I use
the package management Anaconda for Python and manual install libraries for R
in terminal. This is pretty accessible for screen reader users. I’m blogging
about my own journey.
If you don’t want to setup a local environment or need more power, I’ve found
Google Colab to be pretty straight forware. If you have ever used Jupyter
Notebook it will seems familiar to you.
As for maths. You’ll need to know some linear algebra at the very less.
I hope that helps.

Subject: [program-l] How much machine learning and deep learning is accessible
for blind users in production?
Hey all,
As I mentioned in my introduction email, I did not study computer science and
do not have a math background.
I am just interested in learning AI and machine learning and want to get more
info about existing tools regarding accessibility.
The other challenge Is math(I think.)
I want to know If a blind dev wants to switch to machine learning and works in
production, What are the most challenges that he should cope with?
How deep is math knowledge required?
How can he analyze the charts and similar visual graphics?
Do you know any accessible resources?
Thanks for your attention!
