Jamal and others:

Could I persuade you to join the Program-Java list so as I don't have to CC the
Program-L list with e-mails for the Eclipse Scripting project. It just makes
things cleaner.

...by the way it's another George Bell list.

I know little about Java and Eclipse, but would be glad to provide whatever
help I can with JAWS scripting and packaging of JAWS scripts. I am copying the
ProgrammingBlind and JAWSScripts lists to let others who are not on Program-L
know of the interest in developing a set of JAWS scripts to improve the
usability of Eclipse. Sina, Ken, and Jay, for example, are other blind
programmers who come to mind as potentially interested in this project.

It seems like an initial step might be to come up with a list of issues and
categorize them as low, medium, or high priority.

For an analysis of controls and what information might be extracted from them
in the Eclipse IDE, perhaps the WinDig utility may be of assistance:

http://EmpowermentZone.com/wdsetup.exe

For Window-Eyes users, there is a script called Harvest Window that is even
more powerful, available at

http://GwMicro.com/scripts

The HomerKit script library contains functions for accessing data in various
controls where the window handle of the control is passed as a parameter. It
is available either as an installer at

http://EmpowermentZone.com/kitsetup.exe

or as a zip archive at

http://EmpowermentZone.com/kitsetup.zip

JAWS Script Exchange (JSX) is a script packager available at

http://EmpowermentZone.com/jsxsetup.exe
