It cost about $350, plus $20 sales tax. There was no shipping charge. I
bought it through the company website.
The FAQ on the site describes a battery and charger, but I can't find
them. It also takes alkaline AA batteries.

I have never found any cad software that is accessible. CAD software is
all visual, at least from what I have seen.
