Once upon a time I did a stint in Computerized design using a product called
AutoCAD. After my sight was gone, I had the occasion to speak with the parent
company Autodesk and they informed me that they were working on AudioCad… I was
rather busy at the time feeding myself to get involved and really don’t know
where the product ended up. Give Autodesk a try, one never knows.

I have never found any cad software that is accessible. CAD software is all
visual, at least from what I have seen.

Subject: [program-l] Designing Electronics blind?
Hello,
Does anyone know of any tools for blind people to learn how to develop
their own electronics?
In particular, schematic diagrams, designing a PCB and how to solder.
I was looking at:
http://www.build-electronic-circuits.com/electronic-schematics/
to get the steps I need to know.
I found:
http://www.fredshead.info/2005/11/soldering-without-sight.html
on soldering blind, but that is it. Most of those links and items are
Are there any lists or resources for blind electrical engineers?
Thanks,
