Suzy: With regards to using Win Cvs I have two options at hand. Eclipse has a Win CVS plug-in so I can perform a wide variety of tasks that are specific to a given project. On the other hand there is the desktop version of Win Cvs with a fairly accessible interface. I use the latter if I need to perform tasks that are specific to the program as a whole. If for example I need to create a branch then that's done with in the Eclipse IDE. Maintenance to the entire project is performed on the desktop version. Commits and Updates are done daily with in the Eclipse IDE.... Rolling back versions are done as well in the IDE. The setup of a new branch in a workspace can be a bit tedious. For example, we have what we call branches and trunks. The trunk is what is in production and the branches are what we are working on. They want me to do a POM update because there have been changes in Spring and my work is pointing to the old Spring. Does this explain my issues any better? You would know it grates on me every single time I can't do something. Fun times my friend. POM is a way of keepting track of MAVIN builds of an application. Yesterdaywhen doing the normal morning update I got two copies of the class I was working on. Since I had not done the update first I got to lose some work. There seems to be an endless amount of stuff to learn.
