One of the standard facilities in ppower4 is for the currently active

Is this facility available in powerdot?

Probably \onslide+ will help you.

I can't see how \onslide+ will work. I could fudge it using \onslide*, something like this:

\onslide*{1}{{\red power}}\onslide{2+}{power}%
\onslide*{2}{{\red dot}}\onslide{3+}{dot}
\onslide*{3}{{\red is very clever}}\onslide{3+}{is very clever}

but, if I want to do this throughout the document, I'll have to duplicate every piece of text and table. I wondered if there were (or could be) 3 levels of "active" --- not yet appeared, just appeared, and previously appeared, which could have their colours set separately?

Ted.
