Hello posypotes,

it was great to see ye for the on-screen party!

*Fortnight #1 prompt*

Consider the ideas of disappearance and alias; maybe the disappearance of
something precious, of stories, of history, of time, of a place, of a
person, of you.

What persona do you hide behind? What identity/identities have you assumed
and why? What lies are you good at telling? Who or what are you hiding
from? And of course, ‘you’ doesn’t necessarily mean *you*.

A poem that might be an interesting kick-off point is ‘On Disappearing’ by
Major Jackson (https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poems/58736/on-disappearing
).

Or ignore all that, and write about anything you feckin' well want!

The deadline for submitting poems is by end of Friday 22 May; then we have
a week to write up our feedback.

Congratulations on the great news about Jean, Heather!
