I need help with following:
1. I want to know how can I save the plot/traces so that the print outs
can be taken?
2. How can I change the colour of the trace. I want to change yellow
colour and the background colour for good quality print outs. How can I do
that?

The eyes17 code has been re-written using PyQt GUI toolkit. The new
deb file contains software for only eyes17, and it does not depend on the
earlier versions.
Those who have ExpEYES-17 box, may install the attached file and send
feedback
Remove the old version by
$ sudo apt-get remove eyes17
To install the attached file, while connected to the Internet
$ *sudo gdebi eyes17-3.0.0.deb*
For Ubuntu versions below 16.04 install the attached pyqtgraph deb also
$ sudo gdebi python-pyqtgraph_0.10.0-1_all.deb
It is possible to install and browse through the online help, even if
hardware is NOT connected.

Non Debian/Ubuntu users may try the .zip file. unzip and run
$ python eyes17.py , from the directory created by unzip
Install the missing python modules.
$sudo sh postinst.
is required to run the device as an ordinary user.
