Hello listers,

MS has decided to include a free installation of XP SP3 within Windows 7
Pro, Business and Ultimate via a download.

So forget compatibility mode altogether! If you need to install in XP
then you can just start XP within 7 and install your much needed apps.
So if you have some older apps which do not claim compatibility with
Windows 7 then you are not out of luck.

With Windows 7 running far more smoothly on older hardware than Vista
would, this is definitely a good move.
