Yeah I used to build Heathkit products! I built one of their pre-amps once around '75 or '76. I started my company around 1976 and used/sold a lot of their products. Good company. They're still around but no longer offer any electronic kits, just educational courses They have some on PC's. http://www.heathkit.com/pctech.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heathkit -Clint Happy New Year to all and God Bless Clint Hamilton, Owner www.OrpheusComputing.com www.ComputersCustomBuilt.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Vern" Clint, You may not be old enough to remember but there once was a company called Heathkit in Michigan. I assembled one of their color TVs back in the late 1960s. It was the first color TV I owned. I still have it out in the garage. I think it is mostly tube type except for the tuner. I received in the mail a bag with resistors, a bag with capacitors, ect. And a manual about 2 inches thick. <G> Vern >I like that "I'm retired and don't have time to watch tv." > > The TV I'm using now is over 15 years old.
