Thank you Lisa and Clint. I hadn't heard of exFAT. I've read a lot about it today though. The reason I asked about Windows 7 and FAT32 is because I want to be able to access the files in DOS. Can't do that in exFAT or NTFS. So, it looks like I'm stuck with continuing to use XP. You might ask why I want to stay in the twentieth century, well I'm just a cantankerous old man. I use the DOS version of Ghost with my DOS screen reader. It's true, I would be able to use a Windows cloning program to create an image but if for some reason I wouldn't be able to get into Windows there would be no way to restore the image to the hard drive. Now all I have to do is to put a floppy into the floppy drive and DOS boots along with my screen reader and I can restore any of my partitions. Yep, I know, what's a floppy? ha ha Thanks again. Well its not FAT32, >actually its compatible with FAT64." ========================= The list's FAQ's can be seen by sending an email to PCWorks-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with FAQ in the subject line.
