Thanks John I'll check that out. I knew of way to get old ones
to work that used to work for me, but I haven't tried it and
don't know if that still works (or of that's what the video is
of). It's rather drawn out, and involves changing the .xpi
extension to .zip, unpacking it, modifying one or two of the
files to reflect newer FF versions, zipping it back, then
changing the extension back to .xpi.

Is FF 3 out of beta now? It's not shown as any update, but I
see it at their site.

Does anyone know where I can get the "JumpLink" extension for
FireFox? I have an old version that won't work on FF 2.x, it
was a useful extension. I can't find it a the main Mozilla
extensions site. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ .
It's not even at the main page: http://jumplink.mozdev.org/ ,
v1.6 is the latest supported.
Thanks,
-Clint

Let's try again. I found this link:

http://tinyurl.com/yywjn4 (Firefox 2: Making Your Old
Extensions Work)

When you click on "Nightly Tester Tools" you will get a "Not
Found" page, but point to "Firefox" on the menu and there's a
link to the "Nightly Tester Tools" download.

Please note that I have NOT tried this yet (but might, since
I'm using Firefox 3 and two of my addons no longer work).

HTH, John.
