This alleged "fix" 3rd post from the bottom doesn't even work!

I even totally removed it and reinstalled it, still doesn't
work. This is becoming infuriating.

Thanks for checking.

Hmm, I don't understand this. Mine hangs on "Connecting to
web" then doesn't go any further then "Failed to connect to the
server. Please check the internet connection and try again".
I've disabled both firewalls and I even made an allowance for
it in the Native firewall. I can't even run the update wizard,
it says "Connecting to web" then doesn't go any further then
"An error occurred when downloading the patch". I've tried
search for all of those phrases and apparently I'm the only
person on the planet experiencing this.

A while back when I tried to update my Guide Plus for my AIW
video card, it said something stupid like there are no updated
listings for your time frame, check that your PC's date and
time are correct. The only thing that fixed it was running the
repair option for it. Now several days ago the exact same
thing happened, I did the repair again, and now it's been
saying for days: "Failed to connect to the server". Has anyone
been able to update theirs?
