I was just about to leave, then I saw this so I'll reply with a quick one. Search for "AutoSizer", a VERY useful and free program. It will automatically size/resize/place ANY kind of window anywhere you want. I use it so my browsers will always open up maximized instead of those annoying partial screen sizes. That will at least help for starters to get the IE window how you want it. -Clint God Bless, Clint Hamilton, Owner www.OrpheusComputing.com www.ComputersCustomBuilt.com www.OrpheusComputing.com/cheap_reliable_web_hosting.html www.OrpheusComputing.com/PCworks-computer-help-email-list.html ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peter Kaulback" I'm working on my friends computer, a basic Compaq Presario equipped with Vista. Intermittently, IE opens up is full screen and with protected mode on. Yet when the icon is clicked it opens normally and with default settings loaded. Numerous malware scan and av scans have been run with no threats showing. Any ideas?
