Re: [PCWorks] Does anyone know of a way to search the email in your Inbox for something in the HEADERS?

I thought about that, but the inbox file is an insane 65mb and
it may take Metapad about a month to open that. LOL.

(Larry & Peter), if Tbird can be installed without messing up
OE, then I may try that. Thanks.

I need to search for a specific string in the headers to see
how many emails have it.

In Thunderbird you can search tags in the headers, what are you
searching for?

Or you could open your inbox file in a plain text editor and
search the
source, I've had to do this a couple times years back when I
was a Notes
admin and it was a pain even though all the email stores were
dumped
into a database to supposedly make such a thing easier(?). You
might
also try a basic html editor like Arachnophilia to view the
file and
search through it that way.
