Not surprising--more BS from M$ patches.  Like I always say; 
only install the ones you DEFINITELY need, and if more than one 
only one every few days so you'll know for sure what kind of 
damage it did and which one did it.

updates from
windows updates over the last 5 days, ran za cleaner again 
(twice, cold
boots between both), reinstalled the updates and installed 
comodo
firewall and now everything works normally. Or as well as win7 
normally
can ;)

Networking it with other win7 computers is another can of worms 
though...
