[PCWorks] IDE Channels

I have a computer with two hard drives, as master and slave
on the main channel, a CD burner as master on the secondary
channel and a CD reader as a slave.
Would I gain anything by making the second hard drive a
master on the secondary channel and making the two CD drives
as slaves on each channel?
