Can anyone please tell me how to make a batch file to rename a file, then another one to rename it back to the original name? I want to be able to click one that will rename a file back to it's original name, then another one to click that will rename it to something else. It may have to do this in two folders at the same time since the file is found in two different folders, and one folder location will try and "call from the other" to override the batch file and put the file back the way it was. I've tried searching for this and all I can find are programs that rename in large batches, or doing it in DOS. The batch file needs to be run in XP.
